People listed in LSD

LSD (Life Sciences Digest), a service of [Ayca legal name, address, company number], lists the leaders, board members, investors, scientific authors and patent inventors of life-sciences companies. Everything comes from public sources: company websites and press releases, PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, the EU Clinical Trials Information System and the European Patent Office.

What we hold and why

Your name, your professional role at a company, and a link to the public page that states it. No contact details, photos or private information. We do this to give life-sciences professionals reliable information about companies; our legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). The professional customers of LSD see it under contract. We keep a role while it is current, plus a dated history for up to 5 years.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, and object at any time. If you object, we remove you and make sure you are not collected again. Write to [privacy contact email]; we answer within one month. You can also complain to [the Belgian Data Protection Authority] or to the authority where you live.

If you ask for an LSD account

When you fill in the access request form, we keep your name, work email, organisation, profile and what you wrote, to answer your request and set up your account (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), steps before a contract). Only Ayca staff see it. We delete it one year after we answered, or one year after you sent it if it was never answered. Your IP address is not stored; a one-way code derived from it limits repeated submissions for one hour. You have the same rights as above.

Who processes the data for us

OVHcloud hosts LSD in the European Union (France). OpenAI processes public web pages to extract facts, in its European data residency region, without keeping the requests.
